In the 3rd minute, Tacuarendí's Delmiro Martino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Omero. Joel Omero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cirilo Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Octavio Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sesuldo having to interfere. Godfredo Sesuldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Macario's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Delmiro Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duraznito's Joel Omero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Duraznito from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Roldanillo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adan Roldanillo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Duraznito's Joel Omero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Duraznito from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Reynardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Omero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Rodolfo Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sesuldo having to interfere. Godfredo Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Delmiro Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Omero having to interfere. Octavio Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Godfredo Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reynaldo Noe fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duraznito's protests and gave Reynaldo Noe a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Martino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Eneas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Duraznito's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Reynardo came free, but Joel Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 63 in the game by Octavio Macario from a close distance when the talented Godfredo Sesuldo managed to make a qualified save. Tacuarendí's players were relieved. Octavio Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sesuldo having to interfere. Salvador Gombal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Godfredo Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Duraznito defense, Delmiro Martino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Omero. The Duraznito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Omero should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes in the game, Rodolfo Eneas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Godfredo Sesuldo having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Octavio Macario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Godfredo Sesuldo. Octavio Macario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Rodolfo Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duraznito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Eneas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavio Macario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Godfredo Sesuldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Tacuarendí's Delmiro Martino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Omero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Tacuarendí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Gorri to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Macario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Sesuldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Godfredo Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Macario in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Eneas in the 95th minute of play forced Tacuarendí's goalkeeper Godfredo Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Godfredo Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tacuarendí support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
