Delmiro Peruxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Bonifacio Pierres made a huge save. When Alonzo Orkatz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emiliano Ospin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alonzo Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Apolo Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Pierres made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Delmiro Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. Delmiro Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Pierres having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bonifacio Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Senio in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Orkatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Ospin was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game.
