Carolo Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Salvador Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Esteve Constancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atlante 1916 fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Atlante 1916's Alejandro Eguzki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute, Aaron Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peyrano FC's goalkeeper Carolo Petrigai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Fermin Burni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliano Ibar. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. Carolo Petrigai came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlante 1916's Alejandro Eguzki. But to his dismay, Alejandro Eguzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Esteve Constancio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Petrigai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Carolo Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peyrano FC's Carolo Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Eguzki in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Salvador Tiadoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peyrano FC and the Atlante 1916 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atlante 1916 booed when Peyrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Valery, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Peyrano FC's Carolo Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Eguzki in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Esteve Constancio made a precise shot to the right of Carolo Petrigai. Peyrano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
A collision led to Peyrano FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Feliciano Maore hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Alejandro Eguzki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peyrano FC's Carolo Petrigai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Aureliano Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Fermin Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Esteve Constancio sped through Peyrano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carolo Petrigai. Carolo Petrigai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Eguzki's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute.
