When Elvio Erruki came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Conchitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Erruki couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Milagro's zone, Adan Rodriguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Innocenzio came out of the goal and Adan Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Gomesano in the 19th minute of play forced Conchitas's goalkeeper Bernardo Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Conchitas's Maximo Jerico got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Abel Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, Milagro's Faustino Berriotxoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Bartoleme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Bernardo Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Gomesano in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Conchitas got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Jerico. 37 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Matai notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Conchitas's Bernardo Bartoleme. Bernardo Bartoleme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ermegildo Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardo Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustacio Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Bartoleme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximo Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Conchitas's Maximo Jerico got a free kick in the 45th minute. Elvio Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Gomesano made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Conchitas's Abel Pancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Innocenzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bernardo Bartoleme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Matai in the 57th minute. Bernardo Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Gomesano in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ermegildo Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eustacio Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Elvio Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conchitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Erruki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conchitas's Bernardo Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Gomesano in the 78th minute of play. Ermegildo Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bartoleme having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Rodriguez in the 84th minute of play forced Milagro's goalkeeper Godofredo Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elvio Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Elvio Erruki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Godofredo Innocenzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elvio Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Erruki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Innocenzio having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Conchitas fully deserved thier win.
