After a defensive mix-up in Catriló's zone, Gabriel Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Oier came out of the goal and Gabriel Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Oier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 17 minutes, Rafael Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catriló and the Yaso AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Catriló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Hug to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vinicio Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yaso AFC booed when Catriló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaso AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catriló the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Ernesto Ferran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yaso AFC's Lisandro Gergori didn't even have to move. Albano Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Cleto Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Simon Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Simon Bernard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Gergori. Yaso AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Bernard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Gergori having to interfere. Lisandro Gergori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vinicio Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Gergori having to interfere. Lino Ishmael charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Ishmael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Yaso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes Yaso AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernesto Ferran who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Catriló's corner Ernesto Ferran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lisandro Gergori quite easily take care of the ball. Vinicio Oier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Erlantz in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Simon Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gergori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Yaso AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Lain. When Cleto Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Yaso AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Erlantz couldn't finish the play. Catriló's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
