Amador Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Fitarruín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Toli to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Kelemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Javier Gilabert made a huge save. Luciano Kelemen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Luciano Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Gilabert having to interfere. Benedicto Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fitarruín FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rolando Toli hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Amador Havier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Rameriz. Fitarruín FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Havier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 31st minute, Vinicio Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Benedicto Rafel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. León's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Rafel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Benedicto Rafel put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Rameriz.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amador Havier made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Fitarruín FC's goalkeeper Leandro Rameriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Rafel. The crowd rose to their feet as León's Erubiel Sanchez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Rameriz. That made the score 1-3 after 66 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the match, León's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Azeari came free, but Javier Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luciano Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Fitarruín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Kelemen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Filiberto Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fitarruín FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Azeari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Azeari in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Gilabert saved León from getting behind. Leandro Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The León supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing León would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
