The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ulises Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Niceto Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Constituyentes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Hotz having to interfere. Ignacio Hotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Estefan in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Teo Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Constituyentes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Tirso. Ignacio Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Illart in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Niceto Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, monterrey's Teo Illart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignacio Hotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Amadeo Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Constituyentes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Estefan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eduardo Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Illart in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes monterrey got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Muno. monterrey's Eduardo Markel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save monterrey from getting a goal against them. If Ulises Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Constituyentes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Sesuldo came free, but Ignacio Hotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Sesuldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Amadeo Estefan made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Markel. monterrey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 70th of the match, Lorenzo Sesuldo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ignacio Hotz got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 73rd minute of the match Hipolito Arlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Markel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Teo Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot. monterrey's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Illart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Manuelo in the 87th minute of the match. Amadeo Estefan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Eduardo Markel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constituyentes AFC. Amadeo Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Markel having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Constituyentes AFC's Amadeo Estefan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Markel was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Constituyentes AFC fully deserved thier win.
