The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pepito Guijarro struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Desiderio Monte kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Chelforó's goalkeeper Natalio Perico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Panfilo. In the 15th minute Pepito Guijarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Rosario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Arlo's late challenge caught a Chelforó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Arlo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corazuli's Domingos Arlo got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Llanos in the 17th minute of play forced Corazuli's goalkeeper Nestor Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nemesio Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Corazuli's Herminio Tercero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Perico. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Chelforó's Antonio Lop was substituted for Edgard Shantala. When Chelforó's Pepito Guijarro in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corazuli's goalie prevented a goal. If Pepito Guijarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pepito Guijarro made the kick off in the second half. Nemesio Llanos in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Rosario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th match minute, Chelforó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Monte to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Corazuli's Herminio Tercero got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepito Guijarro in the 60th minute of play forced Corazuli's goalkeeper Nestor Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herminio Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corazuli getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Herminio Tercero hit a great ball. If Nemesio Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Desiderio Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Ildefonso Panfilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corazuli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Nemesio Llanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nestor Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Chelforó's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Panfilo came free, but Natalio Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Domingos Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelforó's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Corazuli had won, even though Chelforó had held more of the ball.
