Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cayetano Manuelo got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Manuelo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Piearres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Colón AFC booed when Pumahuasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pumahuasi's Ciro Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Fonso in the 11th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Emiliano Tino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pumahuasi's Ciro Gartzen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fernando Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Tino in the 20th minute of the match. Edgard Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Saturnino Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Lohitzun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Gartzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Fernando Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Colón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Fonso couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Colón AFC's Emiliano Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Gartzen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Fonso struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ciro Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón AFC. Ciro Gartzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Tino went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Emiliano Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ciro Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Tino got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ciro Gartzen handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Tino to make the kick off. Emiliano Tino struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ciro Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Tino in the 60th minute of play forced Pumahuasi's goalkeeper Ciro Gartzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute of the match, Emiliano Tino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Gartzen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Pumahuasi's Denis Lohitzun got a free kick in the 64th minute. Fernando Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pumahuasi! Cleto Formerio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Emiliano Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Gartzen having to interfere. Fernando Fonso had several of the Pumahuasi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Ciro Gartzen as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Alfredo Justin fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colón AFC's protests and gave Alfredo Justin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Colón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Justin to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Gartzen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Colón AFC played a much better game than Pumahuasi and deserved their victory. The Pumahuasi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
