The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the game Christian Cordera made a throw-in which Carmelo Lorencio played forward. In the 4th minute, Augusto Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 7th minute of the game was made by Eloy Nevada with Florencio Cordeal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. LA MAGIA J R 7's Americo Rojelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Beliran in the 13th minute of play. With 18 minutes on the clock, Dario Geofredo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 18 played minutes LA MAGIA J R 7 got a freekick which was hit by Dario Geofredo. Gómez's Eloy Nevada couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LA MAGIA J R 7. Ladislao Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Eloy Nevada sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LA MAGIA J R 7's Americo Rojelio didn't even have to move. Americo Rojelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Jokin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Vermudo in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Leoncio in the 44th minute of play forced Gómez's goalkeeper Freddy Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Beliran during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicanor Costante hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Freddy Jokin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Rojelio having to interfere. Cristobal Kepa made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Simon Mercurio. With a little luck, LA MAGIA J R 7's Americo Rojelio got control of the ball when Dionisio Sayvion tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Vermudo in the 74th minute of play forced Gómez's goalkeeper Freddy Jokin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Jokin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Niceto Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Freddy Jokin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Mercurio in the 95th minute of play forced LA MAGIA J R 7's goalkeeper Americo Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Rojelio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The Gómez supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gómez would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
