Marciano Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Petri in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Casabindo's Lucio Maju got a free kick in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Perpinya was the one to do the kick off. Usiyal's Benito Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Elija in the 81st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Mauricio Orlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 89th minute, Usiyal's Carmelo Egoitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carmelo Egoitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Usiyal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carmelo Egoitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Usiyal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casabindo:s goal. If Cosme Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
