Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Alvaro Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Iraido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Reynaldo Flor fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corpen FC's protests and gave Reynaldo Flor a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Corpen FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Flor. After a defensive mix-up in Corpen FC's zone, Evelio Rosio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Iraido came out of the goal and Evelio Rosio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Jakes got free with Mateo Transito in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Corpen FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Joanes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Rufio in the 36th minute of play forced Corpen FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Armonía's Alvaro Rufio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Iraido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Filomeno Iraido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Lucado in the 40th minute of the match. Corpen FC's Reynaldo Flor got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Reynaldo Flor off the ground. A collision led to Corpen FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Melquiades Martxelin hit a great ball. Mateo Transito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Jakes in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Jakes was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Jakes in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Florencio Jakes made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Transito. Armonía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
