Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) LOS RAPIDOS's Jonas Tavio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Candido Ramone hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Jeremias Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of LOS RAPIDOS booed when Corrientes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Idacio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Baladi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Idacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, LOS RAPIDOS's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Argina came free, but Flavio Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Cristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Samuel Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrientes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Bartolo Baladi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Idacio. After a rather tough play, Corrientes FC's Candido Ramone got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Maximino Raitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Everardo Etxahun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, LOS RAPIDOS's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Argina came free, but Flavio Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Etxahun having to interfere. In the 44th minute, LOS RAPIDOS's Froilan Truylos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Corrientes FC's zone, Jonas Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Etxahun came out of the goal and Jonas Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Baladi to make the kick off. LOS RAPIDOS's Flavio Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Baladi in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Corrientes FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jeremias Aires hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Froilan Truylos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Corrientes FC's Everardo Etxahun. Everardo Etxahun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, LOS RAPIDOS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Samuel Argina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee gave LOS RAPIDOS a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cesar Ursino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corrientes FC's Everardo Etxahun. 3-1. In the 78th match minute, LOS RAPIDOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Corrientes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Aires to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Tavio in the 88th minute of play. When Anibal Canor came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the LOS RAPIDOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Canor couldn't finish the play. Everardo Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Canor in the 92nd minute of play. Everardo Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Tavio in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Anibal Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
