Desiderio Montes might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Vigil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Montes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 played minutes Guayatayoc FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Sarracino. Javier Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Sadurni in the 25th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Montez in the 58th minute of play forced Guayatayoc FC's goalkeeper Cosme Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Oskitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Perez came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Oskitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 60th minute.
