In the 13th minute, Marciano Rami had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Cristos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Paolo Neron, was totally fooled by Blue Albeup F.C.'s Jonatan Kauldi, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 22 played minutes Toluca got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Lizbeth. In the 24th minute of the match Jonatan Kauldi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Neron skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Blue Albeup F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Derwin came free, but Hilario Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rogelio Lizbeth charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Lizbeth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Toluca got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Lizbeth. If Casimiro Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Neron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Jeraldo in the 35th minute. Marcial Chepe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Neron having to interfere. Paolo Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes Toluca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Kauldi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Casimiro Jeraldo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Neron quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Toluca booed when Blue Albeup F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Teyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Higinio Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Albeup F.C.'s Casimiro Jeraldo suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Blue Albeup F.C. booed when Toluca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Lizbeth got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rogelio Lizbeth hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play Toluca's Justino Raebert was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Teyo in the 91st minute of play forced Blue Albeup F.C.'s goalkeeper Hilario Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Gasteiz was a little too slow when Higinio Teyo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-1.
