The Montecarlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Celestino Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Cristobal Danel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Guadalupe. 23 minutes into the match, Siro Ugutz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montecarlo's Cristobal Danel. Cristobal Danel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Montecarlo booed when FC Guadalupe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Tallia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Diegotxe charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Diegotxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Montecarlo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Guadalupe:s goal. The referee gave FC Guadalupe a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Damian Barto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Montecarlo's Cristobal Danel. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cayetano Mitxel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Afonso's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Ramiro Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cayetano Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Guadalupe's Celestino Qwinton got a free kick in the 65th minute. Siro Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Montecarlo's goalkeeper Cristobal Danel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Qwinton. Edgardo Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cayetano Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Montecarlo's Ramiro Guipuzkoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Mitxel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Montecarlo's Cristobal Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Ugutz in the 99th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Qwinton got free with Cristobal Danel in the 101st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Montecarlo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Guadalupe's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Guadalupe.
