The audience was convinced that Ladislao Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Kinsen was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of Chipaté booed when Gasoducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Hitzeder in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Kinsen saved Gasoducto from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Gasoducto got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Vincente. If Roman Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Wilfredo Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasoducto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chipaté's Venancio Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gilabert in the 73rd minute of play. Wilfredo Gilabert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Kinsen having to make a save. Roman Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Frasquito in the 90th minute of the match. Jeremias Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
