Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Hermengildo Lawrence in the 54th minute really tested Dionisio Elizardo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arnoldo Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Telmo in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Saturnin got free with Dionisio Elizardo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salvador Menendo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Ovidio Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Deseado AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes, Hugo Errando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Deseado AFC and the Cachipampa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Real Deseado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Errando. Faustino Telmo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Arnoldo Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachipampa FC. Ciriaco Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
