Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cipriano Lazcano got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Talleres FC's Cipriano Lazcano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Toluca's Felipe Remigio got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Cipriano Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Talleres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Lazcano couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres FC's goalkeeper Roberto Caetano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Christian Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ruben Hulberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Cutberto in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Christian Cutberto made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Toluca's Ruben Hulberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Toluca's Ruben Hulberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Toluca from getting a goal against them. Rolando Mundo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruben Hulberto. Deportivo Toluca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deportivo Toluca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cipriano Lazcano 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Jerano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Toluca's Ruben Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cutberto in the 51st minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cipriano Lazcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Hulberto. Deportivo Toluca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Lazcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Osvaldo Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Eulalio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Feliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Roberto Caetano made a huge save. Roberto Caetano stood somewhat misplaced when Eulalio Jerano came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 74 minute. After 78 minutes, Christian Cutberto made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Toluca's Ruben Hulberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Lazcano in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Hulberto saved Deportivo Toluca from getting behind. Cipriano Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hulberto having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Christian Cutberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Ruben Hulberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Talleres FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Toluca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
