In the 11th match minute, Charras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Charras's Adrian Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Constantino Ortzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the Charras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Charras booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Ortzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Adrian Argoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Fernando Dino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Sidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gustavo Stanislao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Aldo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Sidoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Stanislao having to make a save. If Mariano Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Argoitz scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Dino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 45 minutes, Adrian Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 47th minute Adrian Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Duarte to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Adrian Argoitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Dino. The goal made the score 0-3. The attack was good, but when Raimundo Solustiano in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 61st match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Laureano Maju shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Stanislao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raimundo Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Dino made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Raimundo Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amadeo Isias hit a great ball. Palermo's Fernando Dino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Sidoro in the 78th minute of play. Amadeo Isias hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Fernando Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Argoitz in the 86th minute of the match. If Mariano Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Charras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
