Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Uzuri in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Sustrai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 36 minutes, Sebastian Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Potros Diaz booed when MITICOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Zeledon Beltxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ivan Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Uzuri in the 67th minute of play. Saverio Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Sustrai having to interfere. When Melquiades Uzuri came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Potros Diaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Uzuri couldn't finish the play. If Melquiades Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
