Jonas Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Malabrigo's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Reyes came free, but Jonas Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Bastiaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jonas Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Enrique Maraman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Bastiaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Francisco Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Baladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Reyes in the 28th minute of the match. Yatay's Raul Bastiaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Valente in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Pastor Tebaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Llanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jonas Baladi made a huge save. Filomeno Pere hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jonas Baladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Reyes in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Valente in the 42nd minute of play forced Yatay's goalkeeper Raul Bastiaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Llanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jonas Baladi made a huge save. Enrique Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Raul Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Abelardo Valente made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Yatay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Jacob who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Emilio Erdiano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Yatay's Raul Bastiaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Yatay from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Abelardo Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Malabrigo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malabrigo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
