In the 4th match minute, Sanabria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Misael to maneuver through the defense. When Haroldo Misael got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Sanabria FC. Melquiades Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sixto Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Bizi was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Cuchupetos got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Hermon. After 17 minutes, Artemio Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchupetos and the Sanabria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Sanabria FC. Ernesto Gonchan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilberto Bizi. 0-1. Sixto Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Bizi having to interfere. Florencio Claus's late challenge caught a Sanabria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Claus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cuchupetos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Florencio Claus hit a great ball. When Cuchupetos's Astor Cordara in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sanabria FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sixto Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gilberto Bizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Cuchupetos got a freekick which was hit by Astor Cordara. In the 46th minute, Astor Cordara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gogo Maju. The goal made the score 1-2. The Cuchupetos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sanabria FC were winning 1-2.

59 minutes into the match, Cuchupetos's Melquiades Larpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Maju narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sanabria FC's Gogo Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Larpe in the 60th minute of play. Astor Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gogo Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sixto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanabria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Bizi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Sixto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanabria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Artemio Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Sanabria FC's Gilberto Bizi threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haroldo Misael, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gogo Maju didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Larpe went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
