Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Cordara started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Hermon in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Bastiaro saved Yatay from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Fulgencio Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Llanos struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gilberto Bizi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yatay. Eduardo Viator hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yatay's goalkeeper Raul Bastiaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cuchupetos's Matias Dalmai got a free kick in the 17th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Yatay's Leopoldo Oliverio tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Francisco Llanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Bizi having to make a save. Francisco Llanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Gilberto Bizi made a huge save. After 27 minutes, Astor Cordara made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yatay's Raul Bastiaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Francisco Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Francisco Llanos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Yatay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Llanos couldn't finish the play. When Octavio Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Yatay fans jumped to their feet. Yatay's Octavio Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Melquiades Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Octavio Reyes made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Francisco Llanos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Bizi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Yatay's Raul Bastiaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Yatay from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Melquiades Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Raul Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yatay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Francisco Llanos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yatay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Francisco Llanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Bizi having to make a save. After 82 played minutes Cuchupetos got a freekick which was hit by Matias Dalmai. Gilberto Bizi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Llanos in the 84th minute of play. Gaudencio Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gilberto Bizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cuchupetos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Astor Cordara hit a great ball.
