When Anselmo Mark came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Yacanto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Mark couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Yacanto booed when Corcovado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Rogelio Chago made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yacanto's Ivan Valente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jairo Indartsu's late challenge caught a Yacanto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Anselmo Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Corcovado AFC booed when Yacanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Yacanto's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Chago came free, but Ivan Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corcovado AFC's goalkeeper Anibal Erramu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anibal Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ted in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Casimiro Ted put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Anibal Erramu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Salvadore during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Yacanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Salvadore to maneuver through the defense. If Casimiro Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yacanto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yacanto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
