With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Cidro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Darien in the 15th minute of the match. Winifreda AFC's Gerardo Cidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Javiero in the 16th minute of play. If Fernan Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aaron Javiero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Cidro was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The referee ignored Winifreda AFC's protests and gave Desiderio Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Desiderio Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Winifreda AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cayetano Rosalio hit a great ball. After 35 minutes Winifreda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Cresenciano who took care of the corner kick. Gerardo Cidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Javiero's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Javiero in the 45th minute of play forced Winifreda AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Montel to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Aaron Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Darien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gerardo Cidro made a huge save. Cajon's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Javiero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Cidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Darien charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Darien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Winifreda AFC booed when Cajon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Cidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Javiero's shot from short distance in the 81st minute.
