Totoral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargas FC the free kick. A collision led to Totoral getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gaudencio Gotzon hit a great ball. Eduardo Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Eutropio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vargas FC's Fulgencio Che got a free kick in the 13th minute. Enrique Sabin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Eutropio. Vargas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Salvador Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Ur during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Vargas FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Ur. When Totoral's Salvador Quin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vargas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rene Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Quin in the 26th minute of the match. Rene Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Boniel in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Quin in the 33rd minute of play forced Vargas FC's goalkeeper Rene Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Che kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Anibal Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rene Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Vargas FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Che. In the 45th minute Anibal Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Anibal Boniel made a precise shot to the right of Rene Eutropio. Vargas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Eli to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Salvador Quin from a close distance when the talented Rene Eutropio managed to make a qualified save. Vargas FC's players were relieved. Anibal Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rene Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vargas FC's zone, Salvador Quin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Eutropio came out of the goal and Salvador Quin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anibal Boniel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Totoral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Boniel couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Totoral's goalkeeper Luisito Firmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anibal Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Boniel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Anibal Boniel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rene Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Totoral. In the 92nd minute, Salvador Quin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vargas FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anibal Boniel 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. When the match was over Totoral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vargas FC throughout the match.
