Nicasio Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Galoer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Osmundo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Rey hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Paranay's Baldomero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Otsoko in the 22nd minute of play. Uriel Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Baldomero Calvino made a huge save. Cristo Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Baldomero Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coatza FC. The supporters of Coatza FC booed when Paranay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Coatza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Stanislao came free, but Cristo Galoer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Galoer having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Ebardo got free with Baldomero Calvino in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Otsoko made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Bartolo Stanislao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coatza FC's Cristo Galoer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bartolo Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Coatza FC's zone, Bartolo Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Galoer came out of the goal and Bartolo Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coatza FC's Cristo Galoer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Coatza FC from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Stanislao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristo Galoer came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Stanislao slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. Cristo Galoer came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranay's Nicasio Beat. But to his dismay, Nicasio Beat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Coatza FC's Cristo Galoer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Coatza FC from getting a goal against them. Paulino Otsoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Baldomero Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juan Rey fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paranay's protests and gave Juan Rey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Coatza FC booed when Paranay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coatza FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Venancio Osoitz in the 78th minute. The corner led Coatza FC's Venancio Osoitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomero Calvino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Baldomero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Gaston Osmundo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After 93 played minutes Paranay got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Osmundo. Ciro Jenaro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Baldomero Calvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coatza FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paranay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
