Valentin Lluciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Juvenal having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Raimundo Endura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colangüil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Endura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sebastian Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balderrama's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Garaile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colangüil's Filiberto Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lluciano in the 19th minute of play. Jacobo Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bernardo Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Colangüil booed when Balderrama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Gil in the 25th minute of play forced Balderrama's goalkeeper Bernardo Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Jacobo Gil notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Balderrama's Bernardo Koldo. Bernardo Koldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Balderrama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colangüil were winning 0-1.

If Valentin Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balderrama's zone, Raimundo Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Koldo came out of the goal and Raimundo Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colangüil's Raimundo Endura got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balderrama's Bernardo Koldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Balderrama from getting a goal against them. When Pascual Bernebe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. The supporters of Colangüil booed when Balderrama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
