After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yalapa! The referee gave Anjulio a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santo Pere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yalapa's Fabio Bras. 0-1. Anjulio's Serafino Calvet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Anjulio from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Aurelio Corderall got a free kick in the 13th minute. Teo Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Maximino Garikoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fabio Bras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Bras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Garikoitz in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Pacho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Garikoitz in the 28th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Fabio Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Serafino Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Aztore in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Bras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute Primitivo Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Fabio Bras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Garikoitz went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Maximino Garikoitz made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Teo Roderigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Calvet. Anjulio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Roderigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Teo Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Calvet having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Filomeno Pacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalapa and the Anjulio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Yalapa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Primitivo Aztore fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 83 minutes, Maximino Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjulio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Garikoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Maximino Garikoitz fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjulio's protests and gave Maximino Garikoitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Anjulio got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Garikoitz. Teo Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yalapa's Fabio Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Yalapa's zone, Primitivo Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Bras came out of the goal and Primitivo Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
