After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Vicente Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claraz's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 minutes, Tadeo Jesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samuhi AFC and the Claraz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tadeo Jesco hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Tabby in the 16th minute of play forced Samuhi AFC's goalkeeper Leo Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joaquin Soin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samuhi AFC's protests and gave Joaquin Soin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Joaquin Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, Claraz's Gonzalo Terciero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Veronica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Claraz reached it. A collision led to Claraz getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Baldomero Chano hit a great ball. Benjamin Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 24 in the game by Benjamin Rexino from a close distance when the talented Severiano Azibar managed to make a qualified save. Claraz's players were relieved. Severiano Azibar made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Benjamin Rexino sent off a good shot on target. Leo Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Tabby in the 31st minute of play. Claraz's Severiano Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Claraz from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Berdaitz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Claraz getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Angel Berdaitz hit a great ball. Benjamin Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Claraz's Enrique Rexino got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Claraz got a freekick which was hit by Santos Norino. Claraz's Severiano Azibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Isaio in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Samuhi AFC's zone, Enrique Rexino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Veronica came out of the goal and Enrique Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lázaro Garaona made the kick off in the second half. When Lázaro Garaona came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Claraz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Garaona couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Damaso Isaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Lázaro Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Samuhi AFC booed when Claraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Joaquin Soin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Azibar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benito Baumar charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Baumar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Claraz booed when Samuhi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
