Esteban Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lorenzo Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Esteban Garaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bocayuva's Lorenzo Leizarraga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfredo Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Leizarraga having to interfere. Igor Bero charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Bero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Igor Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. When Wilfredo Panfilo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilar FC's protests and gave Wilfredo Panfilo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute Igor Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Deunoro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elpidio Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Daniel Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Su having to interfere. Omar Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Camerino went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Daniel Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Cuarto during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Leizarraga was a little too slow when Wilfredo Panfilo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-1. Esteban Garaonas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Lorenzo Leizarraga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Igor Bero was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 75 played minutes Bocayuva got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bero. Esteban Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Leizarraga having to interfere. Lorenzo Leizarraga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Garaona in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Daniel Kinsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bocayuva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 87th minute, Melquiades Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Garaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Apolo Cuarto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pilar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Cuarto couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Pilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Cuarto. Pilar FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
