Angel Galtero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Blasi having to make a save. A collision led to Gil getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Apolo Natanael hit a great ball. Teodosio Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aureliano Blasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angel Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Blasi having to interfere. The Escoya AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gil were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Cristo Constancio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gil getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abelardo Cesario hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Bernardino Aztore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romulo Mark. Bernardino Aztore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 68 minutes into the game, Sergio Camerino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Romulo Mark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Escoya AFC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Ceferino Ferdinand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Blasi skillfully saved the ball. Eliseo Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Sergio Camerino lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Romulo Mark. Gil's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
