Albano Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Itzaina having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Melquiades Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Janpier in the 13th minute of play forced Mineros Zacatecas's goalkeeper Cipriano Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. Ariel Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Cortadera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mineros Zacatecas:s goal. 43 minutes into the match, Mineros Zacatecas's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Baldovino came free, but Cipriano Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th play minute Jonas Lobo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ariel Ibar. 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Petrigai made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Mariano Ekaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortadera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mineros Zacatecas the free kick. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mariano Ekaitz hit a great ball. Jonas Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Quilino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Ibar. Cortadera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Cortadera's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Petrigai came free, but Ariel Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mineros Zacatecas's Cipriano Itzaina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Mineros Zacatecas from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lobo in the 76th minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Ariel Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Cortadera's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Lobo came free, but Ariel Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Petrigai in the 81st minute of the match. Remigio Milian kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ariel Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jonas Lobo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ariel Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mineros Zacatecas. If Angelo Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mineros Zacatecas fully deserved thier win.
