Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eusebio Baldovino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Baldovino in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Artal saved Irigoyen from getting behind. Eusebio Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Artal having to interfere. Nestor Artal was a little too slow when Eusebio Baldovino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cortadera's zone, Luciano Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ibar came out of the goal and Luciano Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cortadera! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Irigoyen. Silvio Luzaide stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Ibar. 1-1. Armando Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Albano Janpier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Ihazintu in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cortadera's zone, Alfredo Otsando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Ibar came out of the goal and Alfredo Otsando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Irigoyen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Baltasar Loi hit a great ball. Albano Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nestor Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ernesto Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Iker Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Jimeno Cordeal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortadera and the Irigoyen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, one of Cortadera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cortadera. Alfredo Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Albano Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortadera's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Artal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfredo Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Albano Janpier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Janpier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Artal having to make a save. Cortadera's Ariel Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ihazintu in the 79th minute of play. If Alfredo Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfredo Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Irigoyen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Otsando couldn't finish the play. When Irigoyen's Luciano Ihazintu in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cortadera's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Ariel Ibar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfredo Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Alfredo Otsando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Ibar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Irigoyen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
