In the 5th minute of the match Braulio Jokin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Tanio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Olain FC's Braulio Jokin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marcelino Videl hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Isidro Eneas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Olain FC's Adrian Millano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Tanio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lázaro Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Eneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Eneas scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lázaro Ipar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lázaro Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olain FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Tanio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Menendo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Tampico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Vitin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tampico FC's zone, Adrian Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Tanio came out of the goal and Adrian Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Ipar having to interfere. Hernan Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidro Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Adrian Millano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Guaberto Menendo made the kick off in the second half. Olain FC's Lázaro Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Ibon in the 52nd minute of play. Herminio Abancens's late challenge caught a Tampico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Abancens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Herminio Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Ibon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Tampico FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Isidro Eneas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Ipar having to make a save. Lázaro Ipar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Isidro Eneas sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, Tampico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Vitin to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tanio having to interfere. Jeremias Tadzio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tampico FC's Marcelino Videl tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Vitin during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tampico FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pedro Vitin hit a great ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olain FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Olain FC's Lázaro Ipar got control of the ball when Marcelino Videl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hernan Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lázaro Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Ipar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Eneas in the 96th minute. Tampico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
