Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nicasio Heriberto made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Isidro Eneas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Xabat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valentin Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club America FC's goalkeeper Astor Xabat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Astor Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Eneas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Xabat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Isidro Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Xabat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tampico FC's Valentin Tanio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Tampico FC from getting a goal against them. If Nicasio Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Tanio came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Club America FC's Gonzalo Isadore. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Isadore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Club America FC's Astor Xabat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Ibon in the 44th minute of play. Club America FC's Nicasio Heriberto got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Isadore got free with Valentin Tanio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Ibon to make the kick off. Nicasio Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Valentin Tanio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Nicasio Heriberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Hernan Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tampico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Ibon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Everardo Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tampico FC's Hernan Ibon got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Hernan Ibon fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Astor Xabat. If Isidro Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astor Xabat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Ibon's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Isidro Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Xabat having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Leon Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 84 minutes, Nicasio Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club America FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Club America FC's goalkeeper Astor Xabat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Eneas. Maximiliano Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Eneas got free with Astor Xabat in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Club America FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tampico FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Tampico FC.
