Matará's Mariano Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Luar in the 7th minute of play. Blackfire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Galtero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute of the match Rafael Ignado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Ugutz skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute, Gogo Luar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blackfire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquilino Porfiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Galtero in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gogo Luar could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Mariano Ugutz however easily saved by the left post. Basilio Galtero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Matará's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ceferino Inko 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Gogo Luar put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Ugutz. Gogo Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ugutz having to interfere.
