After a long run with the ball, Niceto Calvet did a trick in the 21st minute in front of Blackfire's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-1. Casimiro Gorri hit a great ball. Narciso Marino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Gogo Luar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zanjitas's goalkeeper Narciso Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Luar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Blackfire's zone, Alonzo Gorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Abeijon came out of the goal and Alonzo Gorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Ermano's late challenge caught a Zanjitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 58th minute, Gogo Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Gogo Luar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zanjitas's Narciso Marino. Narciso Marino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gogo Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ceferino Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Marino having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Placido Ermano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Marino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zanjitas's Narciso Marino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Galtero in the 77th minute of play. If Basilio Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Gogo Luar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Marino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 90 minutes, Gogo Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackfire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Luar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Urki fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zanjitas's protests and gave Cristian Urki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Cristian Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blackfire's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
