The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes, Concarán AFC's Anastasio Beila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Narciso Quintyn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Concarán AFC reached it. 12 minutes into the match, Concarán AFC's Constantino Kelemen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Quintyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cecilio Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Narciso Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concarán AFC's Constantino Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Concarán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Victoro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Kelemen in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Quintyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusebio Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Teo Dabi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Jatsu got free with Teo Dabi in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Godfredo Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Jatsu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Teo Dabi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th minute, one of Concarán AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Concarán AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Godfredo Indalecio made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Godfredo Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Teo Dabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Larrea AFC's Narciso Quintyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Larrea AFC from getting a goal against them. Constantino Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Larrea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Castulo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Larrea AFC's zone, Constantino Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Quintyn came out of the goal and Constantino Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Narciso Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Constantino Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concarán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Kelemen in the 93rd minute of the match. Concarán AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
