The BOCA JUNIOR FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when BOCA JUNIOR FC's Martin Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Martin Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA JUNIOR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Jax having to interfere. Martin Minos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Isaias Jax to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Hanni in the 25th minute of play forced real chivas's goalkeeper Isaias Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in real chivas's zone, Angelo Hanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Jax came out of the goal and Angelo Hanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Mino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. BOCA JUNIOR FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Hipolito Francesco fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored real chivas's protests and gave Hipolito Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, real chivas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Jax came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by BOCA JUNIOR FC's Martin Mino. But to his dismay, Martin Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 74th minute Francisco Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Pascual Cebrian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Jax skillfully saved the ball. Martin Mino took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Jax. Isaias Jax dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Venancio Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Jax having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Martin Mino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Jax. real chivas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Mino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. If Martin Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BOCA JUNIOR FC's Martin Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
