A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Reynaldo Kaxen hit a great ball. Anselmo Abastas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, one of Medanitos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Medanitos. Jorge Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Saul Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Nisio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Argentina booed when Medanitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Jayvier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Gilabert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saul Nisio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. When Adan Lizardi fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanitos's protests and gave Adan Lizardi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Medanitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Argentina's Eduardo Pacifico tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saul Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Iago hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Saul Nisio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Epifanio Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Iago in the 39th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Nisio to make the kick off. Placido Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Abaurre having to interfere. Jorge Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Maore in the 58th minute of the match. Delmar Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 62 minutes Argentina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amador Xabat who took care of the corner kick. In the 63rd minute Saul Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Socorro during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Placido Maore struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jorge Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medanitos. After a defensive mix-up in Argentina's zone, Anselmo Marko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Abaurre came out of the goal and Anselmo Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Argentina! In the 77th minute, the referee gave Medanitos a penalty. Amador Xabat looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Jorge Abaurre. If Placido Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Placido Maore got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anselmo Marko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Abaurre having to interfere. Argentina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
