The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Higinio Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Abelardo Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Ferrers short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Justo Jordy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Justo Jordy was a little too slow when Cirilo Romo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Justo Jordy was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristo Jokin. In the 21st minute Cirilo Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Higinio Abadia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medina's Abelardo Videl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Marcelino Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacras AFC the free kick. Marcelino Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cirilo Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Abadia in the 33rd minute of the match. Abelardo Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Abadia in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Nemesio Ishmael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacras AFC the free kick. Nemesio Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! If Santos Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Abadia in the 44th minute of play forced Medina's goalkeeper Abelardo Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Romo was the one to do the kick off. Justo Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Chacras AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Ricardo Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Cirilo Romo in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Serafin Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Ferrer in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Jordy saved Chacras AFC from getting behind. Federico Isadore hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Justo Jordy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Ferrer went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 82 played minutes Medina got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Ishmael. Abelardo Videl made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Higinio Abadia sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Videl having to interfere. When Medina's Ricardo Ferrer in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacras AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Maximino Ulizes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Romo in the 95th minute of play forced Chacras AFC's goalkeeper Justo Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chacras AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
