Luciano Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Calera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Gamus. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Edgard Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despeñaderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Lidon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Lugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Calera AFC's zone, Jaime Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Lugo came out of the goal and Jaime Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Resto having to interfere. In the 45th minute Jaime Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Resto having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Txerran was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Txerran in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Resto saved Despeñaderos FC from getting behind. Victorio Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pastor Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Damaso Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calera AFC's Rigoberto Mon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Despeñaderos FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Roberto Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calera AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
