Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Filiberto Ospetsu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ignacio Ortle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Bernabel having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Melagro's Filiberto Ospetsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Bernabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melagro were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Castellanos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orlando Tristan took the corner. The corner led Melagro's Orlando Tristan to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteve Bernabel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filiberto Ospetsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Bernabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Castellanos's goalkeeper Esteve Bernabel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Ortle. Esteve Bernabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Rami in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Pascual Orlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Bernabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Roque Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melagro's Angelino Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Toli in the 26th minute of play. Filiberto Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Ortle got free with Esteve Bernabel in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filiberto Ospetsu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Melagro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Esteve Bernabel made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ignacio Ortle sent off a good shot on target. Castellanos's Guido Toli got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roque Eneas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Ruy having to make a save. Esteve Bernabel came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Melagro's Ignacio Ortle. But to his dismay, Ignacio Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st minute Filiberto Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Bernabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Filiberto Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Melagro getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Reynaldo Txanton hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Filiberto Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Ospetsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Bernabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guido Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Angelino Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Castellanos got a freekick which was hit by Roque Eneas. After having played for 67 minutes, Ignacio Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melagro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Ignacio Ortle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Bernabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 72nd minute, Robustiano Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Melagro's Florentino Pero got a free kick in the 75th minute. Esteve Bernabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Ospetsu in the 85th minute of play forced Castellanos's goalkeeper Esteve Bernabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Melagro getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Reynaldo Txanton hit a great ball. Guido Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Ruy having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Melagro had won after a very even match.
