Zacarias Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Bautista's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Francesco in the 28th minute of play forced Sanford FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Arnalt to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alfonso Arnalt sped through Colipilli AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Theobald. 80 minutes into the match, Colipilli AFC's Iker Francesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Sanford FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Uxio. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gonzalo Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colipilli AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Raymond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sanford FC's zone, Iker Francesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Raymond came out of the goal and Iker Francesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sanford FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colipilli AFC for a fine match.
