Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Elequemedo started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Natalio Abaunza suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Colastiné AFC booed when Yuchán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colastiné AFC's Ermegildo Gartzea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Yuchán FC. Juan Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Fliz having to interfere. Rosendo Gartzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Lixandro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Rosendo Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cipriano Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Matteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colastiné AFC's Juan Elequemedo suffered a sprained foot after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 24th minute, Gregorio Montrelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuchán FC's Fidel Lehior couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Colastiné AFC. Yuchán FC's Rosendo Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rosendo Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Colastiné AFC's goalkeeper Cipriano Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Gartzea. After 46 minutes of play Colastiné AFC's Teo Hernando was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 46 played minutes Colastiné AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Hernando. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Gartzea to make the kick off. After 60 minutes, Hermengildo Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colastiné AFC and the Yuchán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Yuchán FC's Fidel Lehior tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rosendo Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Yuchán FC's goalkeeper Evelio Fliz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Hotz. Evelio Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Peter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Tono's late challenge caught a Colastiné AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Tono helped the player get up and apologised. Colastiné AFC's Ermegildo Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Colastiné AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Daniel Hotz hit a great ball. Saturnino Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
