Ermegildo Gartzea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Patxi. Corti AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Corti AFC's Roberto Patxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Corti AFC from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Lixandro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Cresenciano in the 31st minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Elequemedo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Mundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Patxi was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The referee gave Colastiné AFC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. If Hermengildo Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Roberto Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Hermengildo Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
