In the 33rd minute Isaac Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sumamao AFC's Teo Llin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castilla AFC's zone, Rolando Ponc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Gonchan came out of the goal and Rolando Ponc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Maraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Castilla AFC's Edelmiro Tancredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Maraman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 51st minute, Edelmiro Tancredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Maraman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Arlo made a kick off. Wilfredo Maraman made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Edelmiro Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-4 became the score in the 77th minute when Haroldo Arlo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match Antonio Vimaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilfredo Maraman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Arlo in the 91st minute of play forced Sumamao AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Maraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Castilla AFC's Haroldo Arlo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilfredo Maraman. Wilfredo Maraman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castilla AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
