In the 16th match minute, Cascada AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Cisco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Liher. Cascada AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Liher having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Guaberto Bide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Temperley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Heriberto in the 25th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Isaias Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cascada AFC defense, Daniel Nesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Liher. The Cascada AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Liher should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Cibran got free with Isaias Jago in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hernan Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Florentino Mede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cascada AFC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Heriberto in the 36th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Isaias Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Liher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nesto in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Daniel Nesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temperley and the Cascada AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Daniel Nesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cesar Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascada AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Heriberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cascada AFC's Hernan Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Bide scored 1-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Liher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Cesar Heriberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaias Jago was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Leonel Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Nesto in the 69th minute of play. Guaberto Bide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Leonel Liher made a huge save. Temperley's Isaias Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Cibran in the 79th minute of play. Cesar Heriberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Jago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Cesar Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Jago having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Pascual Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaias Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Patrido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaias Jago. Temperley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pascual Hartz hit a great ball. Cesar Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Isaias Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascada AFC.
